While you can usually find Mike in his Steveston studio, he loves packing up his painting gear and setting off on new adventures–whether that’s driving along the Pacific coast in his VW camper or hopping on a plane to a far-flung destination. He is constantly humbled by the natural beauty of the world and loves nothing more than to capture it in watercolour.
Mike is a member of the Richmond Artists Guild as well as the plein-air painters group, Men in Hats, who meet once a week to paint in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
