Ann Eynon

Artist painting

Born and raised in Montreal, Ann’s style brings a flavour of traditional Quebecois folk art to her West Coast subject matter. Using broad, impressionistic brush strokes, her paintings are full of movement and have a deep understanding of the interplay of light and colour. Ann started her journey as an elementary school teacher with a love of art. Upon moving to Vancouver, she switched careers and enjoyed many years as a successful financial advisor before retiring, moving into her cottage on the North Shore and rediscovering her love of painting. She draws inspiration from the buildings and landscapes that surround her from France, to the Gulf Islands and recreates them in acrylic on canvas.
