Monthly Meeting and Demo

Meetings take place 6-8:45 pm every second Wednesday of the month except in Summer. Check the calendar below or our Facebook/Meta page for details on our guest artist demonstration. For the time being, we ask that you remain masked while indoors to protect some of our more vulnerable members.

Please note that the Cultural Centre prohibits food and drink indoors, but we may be able to use the roof garden during the break.

New members are always welcome! Annual membership is $65 through June 2023, when we break for Summer recess and children's programming takes over the Cultural Centre. We are now accepting Interac e-transfers for membership dues, just enter rartguid@gmail.com as the recipient (you'll get a confirmation from the bank and we are emailed notification.)

Life Drawing

Life Drawing has moved by popular demand to Thursdays 9am-1pm. Email to register or for more information. There is usually space for drop-ins, you can drop in two times before we ask you to join as a member.

The Guild hosts both a Life Drawing group, and the plein air group Men In Hats which paints outdoors from Spring into Fall, and shares a studio space weekly in winter.

Our members participate in numerous groups shows and painting demonstrations throughout the year, and the small works sale Guess Who each November (prior to Covid) benefitting Richmond Food Bank. We support the Youth awards for the Grand Prix of Art and annually sponsor a local student to join our Life Drawing sessions.
