We will be painting in the Gardens at the University Womens Club this week. It has been at least nine years since we have been there.  This is the site of the old MacReae Mansion in the Shaughnessy disctrict of Vancouver.  It has lovely gardens, stately buildings, and great statuarey.  Parking is available on site, but limited.  There is street parking close by.    Weather is for cloudy with a chance of light rain later in the day.  Bring your art supplies, chairs, lunch and dress for the weather of the day.

We have been invited to paint, display and sell our work at the Hycroft GardenParty, a fundraiser for the Hycroft Heritage Preservation Foundation. The Garden Party is August 9, 2026 from 2pm to 6pm .  For those of you who are interested in attending there will be more details comming later in the week.

OUTDOOR ARTISTS

Nice weather offered by out weather person so I’m looking forward to spending a day at Westham Island Farms.   I checked it

out yesterday and the flowers and veg etc are all growing well  so lots of subjects to choose from, including the fancy chickens,

the lazy cows and the Goaty Goats..  I didn’t see the donkey but probably sleeping in his hut.   Bring your gear, lunch and chair
