I’m a happily mainly retired art educator and now a painter for pleasure. I enjoy painting en plein air and in my little detached home studio in historic Steveston, mainly using water colour and acrylic. My favorite element is colour, I like to use it boldly, My work is somewhat realistic but my goal isn’t to reproduce photographic reality. Painting is a regular part of my life, it helps me take the world in with eyes that look a little deeper at the details.
