In 1986, Anne bought a one-way ticket and moved from her home in Ontario to British Columbia. Here, she pursued a career in Critical Care Nursing, followed by a number of successful years in the private sector. With the support of her husband, Anne embarked on a new journey of self-discovery that lead her back to her artistic passion of the past. She is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Richmond Artist Guild and the Men in Hats.
Painting is an endless learning process that I find very fulfilling. The creative process of translating my vision onto a two-dimensional surface in order to evoke a sense of place and time brings me joy. The sheer beauty and challenge of painting the West Coast “En Plein Air” keeps bringing me back.
