In 1986, Anne bought a one-way ticket and moved from her home in Ontario to British Columbia. Here, she pursued a career in Critical Care Nursing, followed by a number of successful years in the private sector. With the support of her husband, Anne embarked on a new journey of self-discovery that lead her back to her artistic passion of the past. She is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Richmond Artist Guild and the Men in Hats.
Anne paints mainly still life in oils, and has studied under a number of classically trained instructors. The creative process of painting is an endless process that she finds fulfilling. Her work has been sold in British Columbia and Ontario.
